Sales By Appointment
With the Shop currently closed to the public, we want to make sure we can keep you supported and active this spring. We will have a rotating inventory available to purchase by appointment. If you see something you like, email Shop@dsmstreetcollective.org or call 515-288-8022 to learn more about a product or set up an appointment to come by the shop to purchase it. Staff will follow public health protocols to ensure safety and health of our staff and customers.
If you choose to purchase a bike by appointment, the transaction will be handled via the following procedure.
1.) First you will need to figure out what size bike you need. For help finding the size bike you need please refer to these guides:
Mountain Bike Fit Calculator - https://www.ebicycles.com/bicycle-tools/frame-sizer/mountain-bike
Road Bike Fit Calculator - https://www.ebicycles.com/bicycle-tools/frame-sizer/road-bike
2.) Once you have identified the size bike you need, you can use that information to peruse the galleries of bicycles we have available.
3.) When you have picked out a few bikes you're interested in, give the shop staff a call at 515-288-8022 and they will help you narrow your selection down to no more than 2 bicycles to test ride. This limit is in order to preserve our limited supply of disinfectant materials as we are disinfecting all bikes in between riders.
4.) Once you and our staff have narrowed down the choice of bike, you will schedule an appointment sometime Monday-Friday 10am - 6pm
5.) When you arrive for your appointment you will call the staff again and meet us in the back parking lot for the test ride. There will be two boxes marked on the ground, one for staff and one for customers. In order to maintain social-distancing guidelines please stay in the appropriate box.
6.) The staff will provide gloves for you to wear during your test ride.
7.) If you are satisfied with the bike the staff will accept card payments only and send you on your happy way with your new bicycle!
If we all do our part to ensure these guidelines are followed we can keep our community safe and healthy and continue to serve the community, thank you for your cooperation!
